Oxapampa, the capital of country music in Peru, once again hosts the Oxapampa Country Fest 2019 at the Arena del Diablo this June.

Amidst the beautiful natural landscape of Oxapampa the 2-day event presents the best live country music of the year in Peru. Participating in this year’s already 9th edition are Peruvian bands such as Alta Densidad, Último Acorde, Los Stomias, Aldry Laguna & Los Forasteros, Caoba, Lujan / Bustamente / Creamer and Los Caracoles Suicidas.

They are joined by international country artists including La Taba Country from Mendoza, Argentina, Mexican Jesús Terrazas from Denver, USA, Lilly West from Nice, France, Adoração Country from Brazil, Grupo Tolerados from Mexico, Countruck from Brazil, Wild West from Mexico, Bull Rider’s from Mexico, Peter Myles from Canada and Texas Hammer, from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Next to two days filled with the best country music there will be a handicraft and souvenir market, kids entertainment, a “jinete” (horsemen) and an oldtimer exhibition, line dancing, and lots of delicious Peruvian food. Additionally, the Miss Country Fest 2019 will be elected and the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl awarded.
