Life in Peru’s main cocaine producing region: VIDEOS

“Racing in Cocaine Valley” is a documentary by Lali Houghton and Nick Ahlmark, independent film makers and investigative journalists, that are trying to provide an insight into the local circumstances. While the short film at first seems to be just about winning a dangerous motorcycle taxi race, it actually quite impressively provides a glimpse into the everyday life and struggle of ordinary people living in the VRAEM region from a different viewpoint.
