Vegetarians in Peru pay attention: for the first time the International Vegetarian Gastronomy Festival, the VegFest Food, is held in Lima in its 4th edition from October 19 to 21, 2018.

Organized by VegFest Peru and the Municipality of Lima more than 100 exhibitors, restaurants and chefs are expected at the festival all aiming to spread the word about vegetarian living and introducing visitors to delicious and healthy vegetarian food options.

Next to lots of fresh Peruvian fruits and veggies and dishes prepared with them there will be free food tastings, cooking workshops and demonstrations and lectures. The cultural program which also is free of charge includes yoga classes, theater, music and dance performances.

The VegFest Food 2018 in Lima is a 100% ecological gastronomic fair; no plastic or styrofoam dishes and cutlery is used and all disposables are biodegradable.
