Huallanca, located about 400 km (250 miles) northeast of the Peruvian capital Lima in the Ancash region, invites nationals and foreigners to the 3rd Adventure Sports Festival Cañón del Pato 2019 in celebration of Fiestas Patrias, Peru’s National Holiday.

During the festival tourists are welcome to get to know this great adventure sports destination and participate in rock climbing competitions, abseiling, canoeing, rafting, off-roading on ATVs and skywalking where the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra meet on Peru’s highest high wire (with a length of 6 m / 20 ft and a depth of 200 m / 650 ft).

Next to the various adventure sports the region offers visitors can enjoy the breathtaking landscape, the delicious cuisine and the friendly and inviting people of Huallanca and surrounding areas.
