Rawayana and Temple Sour – Reggae Sessions 2018 in Lima

As part of their Trippy Caribbean World Tour Rawayana, the reggae and trippy pop band from Venezuela, makes a stop in Lima presenting their 3rd studio album “Trippy Caribbean” to their Peruvian fans.

The band - composed of Alberto “Beto” Montenegro (acoustic leader and voice), Antonio “Tony” Casas (Low), Andrés Story (drums) and Alejandro Abeijón (guitar) - is known for their fusion of music genres. Combining Reggae, Folk and Pop up Afro-Caribbean rhythms with fresh melodies and easy to remember lyrics made them the most popular group of independent music in Venezuela.

They soon became popular in whole Latin America and received numerous awards such as the Pepsi Music Award for Best Reggae Artist of the Year, Best Reggae Song, Best Reggae Video and Best Reggae Album of the Year and were nominated for the 2017 Latin Grammy.

Supporting act at their concert in Lima is the Peruvian reggae fusion band Temple Sour who combines the characteristic reggae rhythms with rock and Peruvian sounds.
