Peru Mucho Gusto in Tumbes 2018

For the 4th time the city of Tumbes in northern Peru hosts the popular Peru Mucho Gusto food festival in mid- December 2018.

Organized by Promperu, Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board, and Tumbes authorities, the food fair aims at promoting the local gastronomy and less known Peruvian destinations as well as boosting domestic and near-border tourism.

At over 60 food stands visitors are invited to taste typical Peruvian dishes and beverages from Tumbes and 24 other Peruvian regions including Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Lima, Loreto, Moquegua, Piura, Tacna and Ucayali.

So, the Peru Mucho Gusto food festival in Tumbes allows its guests to completely indulge into lots of real Peruvian flavors and savors. Enjoy!

Additional stalls at the food fair offer tourist information and sell local arts and crafts.

As common in Peru at those kinds of gastronomic events visitors can enjoy as well local live music, traditional dances, award ceremonies, lots of talks about Peruvian cuisine and cooking classes with renowned chefs.
