Cascanueces - the Nutcracker, one of the most loved and anticipated Christmas stories for young and old, returns to the stage of Lima’s Municipal Theater in December 2018.

Presented by the Municipal Ballet of Lima the two-act ballet, originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, will once again take the audience to the magic world of dreams and fantasies where little Clara has to face an army of mice during Christmas night to save her beloved nutcracker.
