Last year the first edition of the Inka Hard Enduro race proved to be even more challenging than anticipated due to some rain and only 4 drivers reached the finish line. So, for the 2016 second edition kicking off this Friday the Enduro pilots know what to expect. Among the participants are last year’s winner Didier Goirand “Frodo” and his KTM teammate, the experienced Dakar pilot Felipe Ríos and other pilots from the US, Mexico, Canada, Ecuador, Spain and France.

The Inka Hard Enduro 2016 starts tomorrow, December 2nd at 05.00 pm at the Explanada de la Costa Verde in Lima’s Magdalena del Mar. The demanding circuit is full of artificial obstacles including rocks, tires, jumps, many curves and long straights. To qualify for the second stage of the competition, the drivers have to use all their experience and know-how.

On the 3rd and 4th of December qualified pilots and their teams move to San Bartolo south of Lima. Here they have to conquer an extensive and challenging route through rocky mountain terrain and ravines with steep climbs and sharp slopes in the shortest possible time.

Excited to at least watch? The organizers invited all interested to join the qualifying stage tomorrow. Next to great races, there will be food, an exhibition, introductions of products and all you need to spend a lovely and exciting Friday late afternoon with the whole family.

When: 2nd of December 2016 between 05.00 pm and 09.00 pm
Where: Explanada de la Costa Verde, Circuito de Playas, Magdalena del Mar, Lima
Tickets: available at the Teleticket booths at Wong and Metro supermarkets or online.
